You should have: • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules Your main tasks: • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels Pay around $3,200 per month, based on your experience.
