Vacancy available: we are hiring an incoming goods inspector in Cape May County, New Jersey. The job is at a food processing unit. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges On the job you will handle: • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing Six days a week, one day off.
