CO2 welder • Barry County, Missouri

We are recruiting: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Barry County, Missouri. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. On a typical shift you will lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
