Sample machinist wanted in Spokane County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sample machinist in Spokane County, Washington. On a typical shift you will clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes. Requirements: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance We offer $28 per hour plus benefits. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
