Ideal candidate: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Able to read isometric and site drawings The role involves thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate.
