Vacancy available: concrete shuttering carpenter (Louisiana)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana. Requirements: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts Day to day you will check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Share your details and we will call you back.
