Tiler — City of Williamsburg

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tiler in City of Williamsburg, Virginia. The role involves: • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles Ideal candidate: • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
