Brick mason wanted in Mississippi County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brick mason in Mississippi County, Missouri. You will be based on a new-build development. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently On the job you will handle: • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters 5+ years on the tools preferred.
