Immediate opening: we are hiring a safety officer in Kay County, Oklahoma. The job is on a road and infrastructure project. What we are looking for: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces You will update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. We offer $30 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
