Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Franklin County, Virginia. Day to day you will maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions. Requirements: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
