Immediate opening: rough terrain crane operator (Indiana)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Switzerland County, Indiana. The job is in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. Day-to-day duties: • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines You should have: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Strong attention to safety and load limits Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
