Cold room technician — Avoyelles Parish

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cold room technician in Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana. On the job you will handle: • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch You should have: • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
