GTAW welder wanted in Carmarthenshire

Immediate opening: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Carmarthenshire, Wales. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. The role involves: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec What we are looking for: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding We offer £2,900 per month plus benefits.
