Vacancy available: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Bristol Bay Borough, Alaska. What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket The role involves: • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
