Gantry crane operator — Borough of Swindon

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Borough of Swindon, England. You will be based at a container port and shipping yard. What we are looking for: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Your main tasks: • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. £2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
