Dogger • Mid and East Antrim, Northern Ireland

Vacancy available: we are hiring a dogger in Mid and East Antrim, Northern Ireland. You will be based at a power plant. Requirements: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Day-to-day duties: • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
