Urgent requirement: scaffolding supervisor (Iowa)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a scaffolding supervisor in Mills County, Iowa. You will work on a residential housing development. Requirements: • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Awareness of TG20 and SG4 safe working practice You will plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors; set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground; handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out; read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
