Immediate opening: we are hiring a precision welder in Saint Tammany Parish, Louisiana. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection On a typical shift you will set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Contact us to fix an interview.
