Gtaw welder wanted in Nueces County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Nueces County, Texas. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. The role involves grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job. Requirements: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
