Lift maintenance fitter • Oneida County, New York

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Oneida County, New York. On a typical shift you will mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; run load and overload tests with test weights; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy. You should have: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. We offer $28 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
