Great opportunity: we are hiring a machinist in Fannin County, Georgia. Day to day you will match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish. You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
