Kitchen steward wanted in Grundy County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a kitchen steward in Grundy County, Illinois. You will be based in a catering unit. Day-to-day duties: • Scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies • Top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures • Load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles • Wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils • Help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room • Mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates • Able to stand on your feet for long shifts Full-time with occasional weekends.
