Laundry presser — Tillamook County

Now hiring: we are hiring a laundry presser in Tillamook County, Oregon. You will be based at a garment factory. Requirements: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Your main tasks: • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Give each garment a final press before packing At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
