Great opportunity: CNC milling operator (New York)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Greene County, New York. You will be based in a CNC machining unit. You should have: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work The role involves set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe.
