Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welder in Bell County, Texas. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
