Immediate opening: we are hiring a machinist in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni, Rivers State. Day to day you will change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. You should have: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Full-time with occasional weekends.
