Great opportunity: lift erector (New York)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift erector in Bronx County, New York. You will be based in a residential tower block. You should have: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Day-to-day duties: • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $4,400 per month, based on your experience. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
