Gas pipe fitter — Rush County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Rush County, Kansas. You will work in customers' homes and kitchens. On the job you will handle: • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections What we are looking for: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $4,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
