Immediate opening: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Logan County, Oklahoma. The job is on commercial and industrial sites. Ideal candidate: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Able to read isometric and site drawings Day-to-day duties: • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate 3+ years on the tools preferred.
