The role involves make connections to the mains water and sewer lines; replace worn washers, seals and float valves; install wash basins, sinks, WCs and flush cisterns; cut, thread and join pipes with solvent cement or threaded connections; detect and fix leaks at joints and concealed pipework; install and repair water supply lines using PPR, CPVC and GI fittings. Ideal candidate: • Own a basic set of plumbing hand tools • Sound knowledge of PPR, CPVC, PVC and GI pipe systems • Able to read basic plumbing drawings and layouts Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
