Elevator technician • Sanpete County, Utah

Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator technician in Sanpete County, Utah. The job is in a machine room on the rooftop. Day to day you will install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork. Ideal candidate: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $11,500 per project, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
