Immediate opening: we are hiring a demolition labourer in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. The job is on a high-rise construction site. Day to day you will carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations. Requirements: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
