Join our team: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Breckinridge County, Kentucky. You will be based at a container port and shipping yard. On the job you will handle: • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone What we are looking for: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Rotating shifts.
