Vacancy available: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Stanley County, South Dakota. The role involves: • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints You should have: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
