Fabrication workshop technician • Guadalupe County, New Mexico

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Guadalupe County, New Mexico. The job is in the profile cutting and welding bay. The role involves: • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame You should have: • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
