Now hiring: conventional mill operator (New York)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Livingston County, New York. You will work in a CNC machining unit. You should have: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery You will deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors. 2+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
