Day-to-day duties: • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates • Replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line You should have: • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports Rotating shifts.
