Lift installation engineer • Decatur County, Georgia

Join our team: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Decatur County, Georgia. The job is in a machine room on the rooftop. Day-to-day duties: • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
