Immediate opening: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in City of Salem, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
