Commercial tyre fitter — Ontario County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a commercial tyre fitter in Ontario County, New York. You should have: • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly • Awareness of workshop health and safety Your main tasks: • Fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly • Check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear • Log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench • Repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights Six days a week, one day off.
