Milling machinist — Halifax County

Now hiring: we are hiring a milling machinist in Halifax County, North Carolina. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. On the job you will handle: • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter You should have: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
