Long-haul driver wanted in Kern County

Now hiring: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Kern County, California. The job is at a haulage company. What we are looking for: • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips Your main tasks: • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
