Urgent requirement: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Kearney County, Nebraska. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. You should have: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Willing to work shifts and overtime Day-to-day duties: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
