Immediate opening: we are hiring a hand presser in Ifedayo, Osun State. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. Day to day you will hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory 3+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around ₦240,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
