Urgent requirement: we are hiring a site dozer operator in Saint Tammany Parish, Louisiana. The role involves: • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction What we are looking for: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes Rotating shifts.
