Production line inspector wanted in Hood River County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a production line inspector in Hood River County, Oregon. The job is in an automotive parts factory. You should have: • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor On a typical shift you will check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line. 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
