Bar bender and fixer wanted in Lyman County

Join our team: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Lyman County, South Dakota. You will be based on a busy residential building site. You will install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors. Ideal candidate: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
