Join our team: we are hiring a press operator in Colbert County, Alabama. The job is in a forging and pressing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Record output and downtime on the production sheet Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
