Immediate opening: we are hiring a precision welder in Kane County, Utah. Your main tasks: • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters Ideal candidate: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
