Site safety steward — Monterey County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a site safety steward in Monterey County, California. On a typical shift you will ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift. Requirements: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts.
